General Maintenance & OCN Go-Kart Programme
Amazing project, this project, funded through the Active Citizenship Fund, is about changing lives, improving life opportunities, inspiring young adults, motivating them, with real opportunities and real progression.
Inputs from SH (Wolverhampton City Council), AP (United Living), JB (Wolverhampton City Council - IMPACT Programme) and MW (City of Wolverhampton College) and support from The Way Youth Zone (DH), have been amazing. Participants fully participated and found the programme very positive and productive, feedback from the young people was very positive, they found the programme very interesting and informative. Even the guest speakers found it very positive and enjoyable.
The programme has proved to be very productive to date, four participants have made contact with the IMPACT programme, four or five will be enrolling on the electrical course at the City of Wolverhampton College, this September. The programme will continue to run and provide support to all the participants until they reach their desired destinations.
The programme has been supported by Wolverhampton Homes and kindly been hosted by The Way, Youth Zone.
