Wolves Street Jam was a key component of Community First Initiative's
broader strategy to enhance the profile of Wolverhampton. Our strategy
focuses on attracting new visitors to the city centre, boosting the
local economy, and supporting our business entrepreneurship initiatives.
We recognise that while it's crucial to support individuals in starting
businesses, it's equally important that Wolverhampton itself thrives,
creating a conducive environment for these businesses to succeed.
To this end, we aim to organise city-wide events that elevate
Wolverhampton's profile. Wolves Street Jam, in partnership with
Skateboard GB and Subway, was a resounding success. The event drew new
visitors to the city centre, providing a welcome boost to local
businesses, some of whom expressed their gratitude for the increased
footfall. Moreover, the event fostered diverse and harmonious community
relations, reinforcing our commitment to promoting inclusivity and
